Privacy Policy

Vidmaxx is operated by Khany Ecom Ventures LLC. This policy covers the Vidmaxx iOS app, vidmaxxai.app, and related services.

• Account. We collect your email address, name if provided, Sign in with Apple or Google identifiers, and a unique account ID when you create an account. We use this information to authenticate you, restore your projects, and send account emails.
• Subscription and payments. We receive purchase status, product identifiers, entitlement state, and customer IDs. App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Web purchases are processed by Stripe, with subscription state managed by RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card number.
• Project metadata. We collect project names, clip labels such as hook, body, and CTA, combination IDs, export counts, and similar records needed to run the product.
• Video. Recording and assembling happen on your iPhone. Camera and microphone are used only when you record. Photo Library is used only when you import or save videos. Video files may remain on-device and, if you use cloud sync or storage features, may also be stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, to back up your work.
• Auto-cut (optional AI editing). If you use Auto-cut with AI turned on (included with the Creator and Pro Creator plans), the app extracts the audio track of the clip you are editing — never the video — and sends it to our servers. We send that audio to Deepgram to create a transcript with word timings, and send the transcript to Anthropic to identify retakes, stutters, filler words and similar mistakes. We use the results only to suggest cuts in the app, which you can review, change or undo. We do not store the audio or transcript after the results are returned; we keep only a usage record (date, clip length, whether AI was used, and your plan) to apply monthly limits. Deepgram and Anthropic process this data on our behalf, are not permitted to use it to train their models, and may keep it for a limited period under their own policies for security and abuse prevention. You can turn AI off in the app under Account → AutoCut; pauses are then detected only on your iPhone.
• Communications. We use your email address for password resets, welcome and account messages, and optional product updates. You can unsubscribe from product or marketing emails. You will still receive transactional emails such as password resets, receipts, and security notices.
• Device and diagnostics. We may receive crash or error information, app version, and coarse purchase analytics through Apple, RevenueCat, and our hosting providers so we can operate and improve the service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your videos, audio or transcripts to train AI models, and our AI providers do not use them for training.

We share data only as needed to operate Vidmaxx, with providers that are required to protect it:

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store and StoreKit billing, and optional analytics.
• Google, for Sign in with Google, if you choose it.
• Stripe, for web payments. Khany Ecom Ventures LLC is the merchant of record for web charges.
• RevenueCat, for subscription entitlements on iOS and web.
• Supabase, for authentication, database services, and file storage.
• Deepgram, for speech-to-text transcription of clip audio when you use AI Auto-cut.
• Anthropic, for analyzing transcripts to find retakes, stutters and filler words when you use AI Auto-cut.
• Resend, for email delivery.

We do not share data with advertising networks for third-party ads. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising, and we do not use the App Tracking Transparency IDFA for ads.

Where applicable, we process personal data to provide the service you request under our contract with you; to operate, improve, and secure the service based on our legitimate interests; to comply with law; and to send marketing emails only with consent or as otherwise permitted. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

We keep account and project data while your account is open.

When you tap Delete account in the Vidmaxx iOS app (Account / Settings), we immediately delete that user from our database: the auth user, profile, projects, clips, renders, stats, and stored video files for that account. We also remove you from our email contact list when possible.

Deleting the iOS app from your phone does not delete your account—you must use Delete account.

Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google and are not canceled by deleting your Vidmaxx account. To stop charges, cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Subscriptions.

Limited payment records may be retained as required for tax, fraud, or law. Database backups may hold residual copies for a short rotation window, after which they drop off.

You can also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing admin@vidmaxxai.app.

Vidmaxx is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

• Withdraw marketing consent through the unsubscribe link in those emails.
• Change camera, microphone, and photo permissions in iOS Settings → Vidmaxx. The app still works for account and subscription management without camera access; recording requires camera and microphone access.
• Turn off AI for Auto-cut in the app under Account → AutoCut. Auto-cut then trims pauses on your iPhone only, without sending audio to us or our AI providers.
• Use Sign in with Apple Hide My Email.
• California and similar US state laws. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined for targeted advertising. You may request access, deletion, and correction at admin@vidmaxxai.app.
• EEA and UK. You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object. Contact admin@vidmaxxai.app.

Data is stored with reputable processors that may be located in the United States. We use encryption in transit through HTTPS and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. We may also notify you about material changes in the app or by email.
